Salut, hola, Hallo!

Je m'appelle Emmanuelle. Me llamo Rosa. We are two young French and Spanish ladies in their late 20's. As one of the few international girls engineer in our company we directly bounded after deciding that the german cantine food was not meeting a spanish and french girl expectations and we would time to time share our lunch boxes. This is our first post. We will introduce ourselves and share our vision for this blog with you.

We are Geeks!
We work as space engineers as in Germany. YES!!! We are kind of rocket scientist! How cool is that? We are sucessfull and the whole life ahead of us. We run calculation, discuss about the specific impulse, fight about mass budget... basicelly all the things that matters if you need to send a spacecraft into space. We are nerds, geeks or whatever you like to call it! We are engineers, we love our jobs! But the fact is that we don't look like most people imagine space engineers or nerds... (I'm sorry for the ones who do)

We have dozens of nail polishes (that we actually use)
We both have kind of a problem called shoppaholism.
We are citizens of the world and want to share our views.
We are expats and we have funny anecdotes.
We read, read and read, so we also want to talk about books.
We speak french, spanish, english and german (yes, german!) and are learning some more languages.
We are single women far away from our mums, family.
We cook to take our healthy lunch boxes to work. We would like to share some recipes!
We love love love love to travel. And not only back home, but also around the world.

Why Rosa & Emma blablabla?
After working, cooking, shopping, reading, making sport, learning languages, seeing friends, we thought WE WANT MORE! We want to meet more people like us, we want to start our own company, we want discover some new ways of life. The big question is : Where to start? and this is the answer Rosa & Emma blablabla!

We started the Rosa & Emma blablabla project as a means to connect with people like us, to help expats or future expats surviving Germany, to document our steps towards learning how to program an app (and maybe towards a startup?), and to leave a little bit of ourselves in the middle of this 500-million-blog cloud in the internet.

So here it is, a blog for women, for expats, for tech-interested, for travelers, for everyone that can see him or herself reflected on our own lives.
